There are many original peoples who think of our Mother Earth as Turtle Island. This turtle shield includes various Iroquois Confederacy images. Painted in honor of my Onondaga and Mohawk friends. The turtle has held a place of slow and stable. This shield is done in acylics, French glass trading beads, real turkey feathers, real turtle shell in the center.
