Born and raised on the Kentucky River in the
small town of Carrollton, KY, Sidney Moonchild
developed her love of nature and water early on.
Having an intense connection with animals all her
life, she seems to see deep inside the animal to
capture it's soul in her paintings.
Sidney's earlier art career
was centered around producing art furniture. She
has multiple pieces all over the United States,
England and France. Injuries sustained in an
automobile accident necessitated a drastic change in
order for her to continue to fulfill her creative
needs. Her attention has now turned to works in oil
on canvas.
Ms. Moonchild has shown her
works at various shows throughout the Northeast,
Pennsylvania and Kentucky. She's been involved in
one woman shows as well as group showings. Sidney
is presently interested in obtaining gallery
representation for her paintings. All interested
